A-B-Tree
Woodland venues and host organisations sought for creative writing events
Each letter of the traditional Gaelic alphabet is associated with a native tree or shrub. The A-B-Tree project is celebrating this ancient cultural connection between trees and writing with 18 creative events, one for each letter, which will use the trees as inspiration for new writing.
Some of the events so far are being run with schools, environmental and community groups, writing groups and mental health projects. The events will blend folklore and ecology, encouraging people to be playful with words during a walk in the woods.
Do you know of a community group that would like to hold one of these fun, creative events in a woodland venue?
Mandy Haggith would love to hear from you if you would like to be involved.Contact her by email on hag@worldforests.org or phone 01571 844020
