Exhibitions
Added on 28 February 2022
As a poet and novelist, my work is usually found on the page, but over recent years I have been getting involved in collaborations with artists in other media and this has led to exhibiting my work in galleries. 2022 seems to be my year for exhibitions as I am involved in two art exhibitions, both linked to my Liminal Zone project, involving at least six different showings in different galleries around Scotland.
Very excitingly, one of these is a 'solo' show, called 'Trees Meet Sea'. This is an exhibition of my poems paired with artworks by fourteen artists, will open at Inverewe Garden on 11 April 2022. More about this here. During June and July it will move to Dundee Botanics.
The academic version of the Liminal Zone project at the University of the Highlands and Islands has also led to an exhibition of art by 10 artists, showing at Moray School of Art (21-28 Jan), Taigh Chearsabhagh in Lochmaddy (5-26 Feb), the Rockfield Centre in Oban (7-21 March) and Stirling University (28 March-August). See here for more about that project.
