Mandy is poet in residence at Edinburgh Botanics

Throughout July 2013, Mandy is poet in residence at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, where she will be celebrating the Gaelic tree alphabet with a series of fun events. Each day, working through the trees in alphabetical order, there will be a tree of the day and Mandy is preparing a host of different ways to weave poetry among the garden trees. Most of the events are family friendly, in the afternoons, and everyone is welcome to come and take part.

The programme of these events  is on Mandy's blog here: http://cybercrofter.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/come-for-poetree-in-edinburgh-botanics.html

Throughout her residency Mandy will be writing a daily blog on the Walking with Poets website here: https://walkingwithpoets.wordpress.com/

The first event will be on Saturday 6 July at 3pm, celebrating birch. Come along.
